Tipsy Poets: Swimming With Selkies Poetry Workshop

Join us for our next Tipsy Poets poetry workshop at Tipsy Books in Bideford 12-1.30pm Sunday 12th April. Our theme this time will be Swimming With Selkies - tapping into our own wild natures and the call of the sea, seeing what words swim to the surface.

All levels of experience welcome, so whether you’re an established poet or just fancy trying something new in a friendly and supportive environment, we’d love to see you there. There will be writing prompts and exercises, a chance to explore the synergy of music and poetry, space to share your work if you wish, performance tips, and maybe you'll even meet one of the resident bookshop ghosts...

We believe arts should be accessible for all, so discounted community tickets are available if you're feeling the pinch and we also have a pay it forward option if you'd like to (and are able to) subsidise these spaces.

The workshop will be followed after a short break by the monthly Tipsy Books open mic from 2-4pm, offering the perfect opportunity to share your work should you choose.
