Tipsy Poets: Imbolc Poetry Workshop

Imbolc is part of the Celtic wheel of the year, a celebration marking the mid point between winter solstice and the Spring equinox, and heralds the early signs of transition from winter to spring. What new ideas are emerging from the dark earth of winter? What is awakening? What is coming to light?

All levels of experience welcome, so whether you’re an established poet or just fancy trying something new in a friendly and supportive environment, we’d love to see you there. There will be writing prompts and exercises, a chance to explore the synergy of music and poetry, space to share your work if you wish, performance tips, and maybe you'll even meet one of the resident bookshop ghosts...

We believe arts should be accessible for all, so discounted community tickets are available if you're feeling the pinch and we also have a pay it forward option if you'd like to (and are able to) subsidise these spaces.
